As mentioned in the previous post, we are making good progress. Rosa's passport is hilarious, as she looks like she she should be on the Most Wanted list. They are required to show all of the face on the photo, so her hair is parted in the middle and is slicked back. She has the most serious look on her face!
We are required to visit the doctor before we head to the Embassy. We did that yesterday, which went well. The girls made quite the mess in the office getting every toy out and on the floor in a matter of one minute.

In the doctors office. We originally thought that we needed 3 of everything to avoid conflict. As you can see in this picture, that is not the case. There was one (tiny) stool in the office. The girls found it and somehow all 3 fit on it.

This is a picture of our time spent in our room the day we found out about the lice. We
quarantined ourselves in our room while we did the treatment. Another treatment is on the agenda today. ....on top of paperwork.

Congratulations...you are almost done! Got to be a big relief to all of you. Good luck in getting everything ready to go home. I'm sure with 3 little ones thats going to be a challenge! :)
First of all I love the pic with the girls on Brian's belly, how cute. Ok, so it's a very small world. My dad just called and asked if I knew who you were. He and Brian's dad have worked together for 35 years! He knew about your family and of the trip to Colombia, about the girls and the lice and the whole story! We will all have to get together once you get home and settle in. So glad you are on the home stretch and will be home soon. Jess said to kiss the girls for her...smile.
Very exciting - we have been reading your blog all along. We arrive in Bogota Sunday night 8-17, I assume you'll be gone by then? Joanne and Duncan

Congratulations on your new & beautiful family. I know you don't know me but what a small world. I heard your dad went to Colombia last week from another supervisor at work & that you were adopting from Colombia. I went to see him & share our story & hear about yours. WOW what a coincidence. Same agency & orphanage that our daughter & son in law went thru. Things will get better & you'll be home soon. The girls are beautiful. We'll keep all of you in our prayers. From another new proud abuelo.
If you have three of everything it is not as interesting. It is the item that there is only one of that will be the most interesting. When there is enough for everyone, they don't want to play with that. Ha Ha. Head lice tip, when you get home, buy some of the spray that you can use to spray suit cases, use garbage bag to place many items in, spray alot and close up. Fumagate any hitchhikers before they get start in your beautiful, but chaotic home.
HELLO! I am so excited to see your blog - you knew about us but we didn't know about you until now!
Oh, your picture at the Embassy Doctor brought back so many memories!
Yes, we do get tired of wiping buns and know all about the adventures that you are experiencing as new parents of three little niƱos with a lot of gusto!!!
When you are able, please sign in to our guest book on our blog where you can leave a private message and then we can get in contact via email!
