What a day we had celebrating our Family Day (one year as a family). It started off watching Curious George as a family on the couch and then eating a breakfast of doughnuts that Angela and Papi picked up early in the morning. We then headed to the Botanical Gardens for a day of play in the kids garden (which is awesome). The girls ended up playing in the fountain and soaking wet, filling cans with water, making mudpies, and playing in the many kid sized houses. Then we went to a restaurant (Tommy's) and had lunch and milkshakes. The girls loved their photo books and Colombian flags, which they thought were Jesus praising banners and danced in the driveway with them. They also received flower bouquets and a cute cookie bouquet from our loving family. The day had some tears also as the girls were processing all the feelings the pictures brought back. But over all the day was fun and they can not wait to celebrate Family Day again!

Wow, have they grown!! Congratulations on making it through the first year. Lots of challenges and changes I'm sure, but so much to be thankful for!
