So what have we been up to? Enjoying our summer and time together. We have been hiking, swimming, playing, riding bikes, learning to jump rope, going to the fair, having picnics, roasting marshmallows, learning to swing by ourselves, dancing, more swimming (the girls are part fish), visiting family, going to the zoo, picking raspberries, playing soccer, reading books, coloring, singing, picking vegetables, and just having fun. After looking back at the last year of ups and downs, struggles and triumphs, I feel that we have always been their parents. It
is easier and we
are becoming better parents. These precious girls were made to be our babies. Don't they look so full of life!

The girls have been sworn in as Cuyahoga Valley National Park Junior Rangers. A day to make mom so proud! Since Penny is a park ranger there. They now love to pick up pillbugs and give them names. Below they are picking vegetables from the garden which they love to do. Now we are starting preschool at home with mami and ballet class. Our first week went great and they are excited students and doing a wonderful job. They have somehow picked up a phrase that drives us crazy and tell each other "you are not the boss of me". Oh the joys of parenting.
