For those of you who thought once we get home the only part of the adoption process that needs to be completed is adjusting to our new life together might like to know what we have been up to.
- Doctor's appointments that last 2 hours long for each child.
- We have 2 out of 6 poop samples collected.
- We received all 3 girls citizenship letters (very exciting).
- Rosa has been evaluated for her development and so far seems to be just behind in language (go figure....)
- Began story time at the library.
- Have found most parks with in a 10 mile radius.
- Been to the Cleveland Zoo.
Here is a list of things we still need to get done in the next couple of months. Not to mention family visits and church activities.
- Eye doctor.
- Hearing checked.
- Get social security cards for all 3.
- Finalize adoption in the state of Ohio (not sure what this all entails).
- We have to meet with a social worker for 4 post placement homestudy reports and the first one should be done next month.
- Swim lessons.........
- Gymnastics......
We are enjoying our life together and continue to grow as a family more every day. We are also still learning every day how to be parents to these 3 girls. It is hard work and sometimes it feels like we missed several years of prep work for this job.
